In Cincinnati, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across Ohio do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

This is such an amazing Italian restaurant. I had a super tasty double espresso. I met the owner and he was so nice. I canβt wait to come back here again when in town.

Everything we ate during our visit was absolutely delicious. We started with the bruschetta, which had such fresh, vibrant tomatoes on perfectly toasted bread. It was the perfect opening to our meal. The portions were generous and tasted truly authentic. I particularly enjoyed the pasta with the rich, savory sauce filled with peas and mushrooms. It was comfort food at its finest. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Biagioβs is a lovely spot in the heart of Clifton. The service was friendly from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was semi open so you can see the chef finishing the dishes and hear the opera coming from the back rooms which gives it a lovely ambiance. We went for lunch and found the dishes to be a bit lacking. I loved my pesto pasta but if you want protein it is an uncharge. The entrees do come with a soup or salad which was nice, but I think for the price the pasta should come with some chicken or shrimp. The turkey sandwich was okay, some ingredients tasted fresh but others tasted old. Overall the place has a nice ambiance and would maybe have better options for dinner.

On to letter B aestaurant and we chose Biagos Bistro in Clifton. Arrived quite a but early, unintentionally, they took us in right away and seated us. Ordered drinks first, Old Fashioned (Woodford) (5/5) was very good for an Italian restaurant who primarily has wine. Basket of bread was brought out and we requested olive oil and parmesan for dipping (a must have at any Italian restaurant). Bread was very good Italian Style but just putting butter on it was plain (we always like oil/parm mixture so it worked out great). Ordered our dinner and enjoyed our drinks. Tomato Basil Soup (10/10) very good flavor, Cream of Mushroom (10/10) good flavor and hearty, Cesar Salad (10/10), Chicken Alfredo (10/10) chicken was cooked to perfection along with the noodles and alfredo sauce. Shrimp Alfredo (11/10) very generous amount of Shrimp and Mushrooms, Chicken Scallopini (10/10) very good flavor including the capers, and chicken cooked to juicy perfection. . After all this food, of which every dish was rated a 10/10 with the star being the Shrimp Alfredo. We had 2 dishes split into 2 plates and the portions were perfect for the ladies. The men barely finished theirs, all excellent size

WOW. My husband and I stopped here after a zoo visit for an early dinner. We were both incredibly impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Very generous portions for the price. The bruchetta was the best bruchetta I've ever had in my whole life! I got the chicken Alfredo and my husband got the tilapia. Both dishes were piping hot and prepared quickly. Everything from the dressing on the salad to the sauce in the main dishes was positively delectable. We will return for sure!
